The sparks encouraged Cecilia "CeeCee" Covington's illustration is her love for monsters and romance novels. Although the majority of the protagonists in the novels she reads do not share her figure or melanin, she began doodling. Eventually, she posted her doodles on social media showcasing her POC characters in the arms of husky monsters.
